The IMS Drone design project features a 3-meter wingspan VTOL platform developed exclusively for IMS Drones. The project underwent a thorough design process including parametric modeling, extensive CFD analysis and aerodynamic optimization. The platform was fully integrated into Flight Simulator (2020–2024) and X-Plane 12 environments. Notably, the X-Plane simulator connects seamlessly with Mission Planner, enabling advanced training, operational simulations, and autopilot tuning—ensuring a comprehensive and precise development cycle.
